Found these (obsolete) building restrictions in a 1985 deed for a title I'm working on.
"That at no time shall any part of said land be used for manufacture, brewing, distilling or sale of spirituous or malt liquors, nor shall the said lot or any part thereof, or any building erected theron at any time hereafter be used or occupied as a bone boiling establishment, tannery, slaughter house, glue, soap, candle, starch or gun-powder manufactory, or for any other dangerous or offensive purposes. "
I am familiar with most of the proscriptions against alcohol & factories, but the rule against manufacturing gunpowder is a first for me.
