I was wandering if any one else is receiving title serches where they request the plat, all easements, covenants, conditions and restrictions on every search . 

I have run into about three companies that have required this on all their searches.  In one case I know it was the title insurance company that was requiring this type of search--I think because the company that they were insuring was high risk. 

I hope this is not going to become a new standard.  This type of search is more of a historical search and in many cases could run back into the early 1800's here in Jefferson County, KY.  I really don't think these companies realize what they are requesting.  I usually send them a letter explaining what this type of search would entail and the time and cost involved and so far I have only lost one customer, who I suspect was also high risk to insure.
