As a keen observer of how well micromanagement works and the efficiency of bureaucracies, it naturally makes sense to some nanny-state lovers to want regulation of an already well-regulated industry. Robert has advocated for the regulation of the title industry, abstractors, and freehold covenants in his blogs.
I've disagreed with him at each turn. His reasoning contains unproved suppositions that, when taken together, create a pistache of flaws so numerous as to boggle the mind. His response is often to obfuscate or invoke his credentials as being all-mighty or run to the safety of "this group agrees with me....".
This incident was properly regulated, by the courts which looked into and adjudicated the matter.
