Um yes, actually - my doctor's office or the dentist. Sam, I think you're trying to conflate title examining with buying stuff on EBay. It's just not the same deal at all. One is a purely commercial transaction - I bid, I win, I buy using Paypal. The other involves establishing a good relationship with my clients for professional services. This is not the same thing at all. I know that there are lawyers' offices out there that offer the option of charge card payments (just like the IRS does for that matter), but I'm guessing (without really knowing since I'm not a lawyer) that their fees are substantially more than what I charge for a two owner rundown. If you can talk new clients into prepaying for work then ok - that's what works for you, but it will never ever work for me. I just don't believe that all people will take advantage of other if they are allowed. Just not my point of view.
