Guess I'm just an old fogey, too, Jess. I use a telephone to make and receive telephone calls. What a concept!
But, seriously, I remember in the mid- to late 80s working for Radio Shack when mobile phones first came out. The very first model we sold was a big, bulky thing that came with a corded handset and was about the size (and weight) of your average car battery. Then came the "brick", which resembled a WWII-era handy-talkie. Heck, I can remember a time when a car phone was considered a status symbol. Now, just about anyone can own one for around 50 bucks.
Well, enough of this new-fangled interweb stuff. I'm gonna go watch some good ol' fashioned telly and turn in for the night.
Regards,
Scott Perry
