Many pro genealogy forums distinguish "Records Look-Up", "Records Retrieval" and "Custom Research" as distinct, so getting doc copies or doing some title releated reviews seem to be in an unclear zone. 

If a title search, by way of custom and tradition in an area, covers current taxes but you only look at the Grantee-Grantor books because the client said "no taxes needed" (they already have them online, perhaps), then is this a true "title search" that should be taxed, or a different animal entirely?
