I have worked for LPS,fka-LSI, for several years.  They have been a good company to work for as far as getting regular work and getting paid for it on time.  I think it was in 2008 or 2009 that they sent me a notice of a merger, I'm not sure but I think they merged with Bank of America or possibly Countrywide, and that is when they changed names to LPS.  Then the search requirements started to change.  I never thought and was never told that some of the searches were foreclosures.  All of the sudden they were expecting a lot more work for the same amount of pay.  I noticed that when I had to call to talk to whoever was working on a title I had finished in order to answer a question a lot of times I was transfered to offices in different states.  Things seemed to get a bit confusing in the past year, but I thought it was because they were a large company with a lot of work coming and going.  I was really suprised to read the article and find out what was really going on.  I will hate to see them go under, but they have been in this business long enough to know how to do it right.  They can only blame themselves for this screw up.
