Hell, in CA the title companies are complicitous with this process; having their staff prepare the NOTICE OF DEFAULT and NOTICE OF TRUSTEE SALE papers and recording them and this was years ago. Today, they have a template form that has fields populated by a client who downloads it off their customer service websites. The client (bank or trustee) sends the form to the title company to record. The title company has a private firm contracted to do it's recordings and so sends this paperwork BY EMAIL to said filing company. The filing company (SPL, Inc., or Pasion Recording or Title Court Services) has their independent contractors (who, incidentally works without an actual contract), print the email, sign the notice and handle the filing within minutes. Anyone hearing this?
