Yes, Patrick, that is exactly where we stand. There is NOTHING in the court file or the land records to indicate any title defect and I have had all 3 of these cases researched by 2 different title attorneys. I cannot cure what I cannot find, that's the problem.
They (the seller) are claiming an "affidavit" defect. There are no corrective affidavits in the court files, the signatures on all documents in the foreclosure are consistent with one another, and so on. I have no idea what the seller is referring to and no one will tell me.
