I agreed with all your points Jessica but his former bookkeeper, Linda works here now and was privy to his pay habits (if you can call being abused daily by unpaid abstractors "privy"). Please don't think I have any personal beef with you. He picked and chose who he would and wouldn't pay and friendship did influence that (I'm sure along with your staying on top of him or he could have taken advantage of it in his favor). The people who cut him off or called over and over got partial payments and occassionally full payment if the bill wasn't too big. Prime case of squeaky wheel.
The only thing I can't figure is why more of these people (owed well in the 6 figures collectively, most 60-90+ day) were silent all this time - he's been a slow pay for ages and we've been told there are postings in counties not to do his work for non-payment. I can only figure people feared that if they posted, they definitely wouldn't get paid but Linda can tell you it was just the opposite because he thought Robert would delete the post once he paid. It's a shame there are so few entries here from independents when you look at that staggering aged payables figure!
It's one thing to gripe but another to warn the uninformed. I respect and thank those for the latter.
