Greetings Members and Friends,

Not only is St. Patrick’s day soon to arrive, that same week The Cleveland Title Association’s March meeting will be held, as usual, at John Q’s on Public Square. 

This month promises to be an interesting event with our guest speaker Attorney Marc Dann, the former Ohio Attorney General.

The topic he is speaking on  is the Class Action Complaint, currently pending in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, against the Law Firm of Lerner, Sampson & Rothfuss, regarding their pattern of filing and prosecuting foreclosure actions notwithstanding the fact that their clients lack standing to bring such actions.

The impact of these actions has the potential to seriously effect our industry and the status of thousands of properties across the country as well as in Cuyahoga County. I am sure that this will be an interesting meeting for all.

Again, in our ongoing drive to bring additional members into our association, please consider asking a friend, colleague or associate to join us. The conversation will be enlightening as well as interesting.
