I can't believe I fell for this scam. Deana sent an order to us. i looked on Source of Title and found 1 person who said she did not pay. i told this to Deana and she said that was now paid. i checked with the abstractor who posted here and he verified she eventually paid all but around $25. Deana told me she could even pre pay for a while. i said fine, send me the order and a check and we'd do this one now even before the check arrived. We did the order, the check never arrived.  She sent 6 or so more searches and a check for $400 but of course, it never arrived. i was so stupid to believe her. I tend to believe people are honest but it's unfortunately not always the case. She said the check must have been lost in the mail but she could wire transfer. The wire transfer never arrived. The trick she used was she kept asking me to verify the wire account info. We had just changed banks a week before so i assumed she was having a real issue and i kept taking some orders. i had my banker email her directly to help her get us the wire and he did. she never responded to him. By then she owed us $625 and all this started with a promise to prepay! Then i get the following email from her on March 26, "Nathan I believe I am going to be able to send half of the monies on tuesday and the remainder on Friday...I am so sorry about this....As you know, it is a domino effect......."

i couldn't beleive i let this happen to us again. Of course, we didn't get one penny yet.

BEWARE OF THIS PERSON. HER FULL CONTACT INFO IS BELOW. DON'T GO FOR IT! i'll probably never get paid especially since i posted this but abstractors need to be informed about these type of people.
