The age of the internet seems to be placing cell phones with cameras into the hands of many people. Students access the internet from around the globe, keeping ahead of governments seeking to divide them and destroy their free speech.
As more and more records go online, national and local goverments from afar will consider the same moves as a way of lowering cost and removing the need for centralized agencies that can, in some places, be targets for terrorism.
All in all, the possibility of an abstractor in Indiana, researching title in Bagdad may be real in the next 20 years. How's that for massive outsourcing and offshoring? lol
