I agree with prior posts: do not offer these fly-by-night, low-quality vendor services any of your time or experience.
They have one-sided contracts that put more burdens and liabilities on the abstractor than they are willing to accept for themselves.
The observation by John that they are very interested in your insurance coverage but care nothing for your qualifications is very astute.
These firms change names, shuffle officers and rotate phone numbers when they get a bad reputation for not paying their contractors and providing crappy reports. We've seen it here on SOT forums, so I don't doubt that they play a shell game.
