Our client, an energy company located in Canonsburg, PA is seeking an experienced paralegal or attorney to review title records to determine the legal lease holders of gas & oil rights.

Qualified candidate will have at least 2 years of the following experience:
1.    Knowledge of land and mineral leasing laws, policies, regulations, and procedures in order to assist in the processing of minerals development applications.
2.    Ability to read and comprehend complex land descriptions to determine surface and mineral ownership status.
3.    Working knowledge of mining, oil field drilling, production and plugging operations and related terminology.
4.    Ability to retrieve and examine files for accuracy and to ensure that information included is recorded and executed according to regulations.
5.    Communicate with land and lease owners, contractors, surveyors, and courthouse personnel to obtain information as needed. Knowledge of laws, legal codes, contracts, wills, deeds, trusts, liens, decedent estates, legal procedures, precedents, survey matters, and government regulations.
6.    Responsible for initial processing of escrow payments including setting up files, making ownership corrections, and aiding in the system integration of all related land files.


Project Details:
Location- Canonsburg, PA
Start – ASAP
Lentgh of Project-6 months or longer
Hour-40 hours per week
Pay-competitive hourly rate
