Area Abstracting, a title service company specializing in New York State’s oil and gas industry, has immediate openings for experienced title abstractors.

Candidates must possess the following for consideration:

·      Experience conducting 40-100 year searches;

·      Ability to and experience with chaining title;

·      Experience preparing mineral and leasehold ownership, runsheets and curative material;

·      Knowledge of Russell Indexes (preferred);

·      3-5 years experience working in the title industry required. Some experience specific to oil and gas industry is preferred;

·      Be detail oriented, self-motivated, professional, contentious, and possess excellent time management skills, all while maintaining an extremely organized work calendar.
