I am so very curious but can't seem to get any answers.
I was tracking a discussion on Linkedin which had been started by Jeremy Yohe, Director of Communications for ALTA. The discussion was related to the possibility of hearings being held to revise Section 1411 of Dodd-Frank, specifically as it relates to QRM's and the 3% cap on points and fees.
I did post a comment and was interested in seeing if other comments had been posted. When I went to check the discussion thread, I learned that the thread had been removed. Curious? Me too!
I sent a note to the admin to see why the thread had been removed, but have not yet heard back. I cannot think of anything on the original post that was in any way offensive, it was really just a small note stating that there was a possibility that this matter might come up for hearings the week of the 19th.
I do know for a certainty that ALTA has not taken and does not intend to take a particular stance on this issue.
Any thoughts on why this discussion may have been removed?
