What is up with this industry we work in? Why do we spend so much time trying to get paid for the work we do and does every other industry have this problem, at this volume?

The worst part is is that there is no recourse! We can do nothing to re-coop our loses. And many of these companies file bankruptcy and start again. I've called the BBB, the Dept of Commerce and Sec of State on many of them and they all say the same thing, " we don't really handle these issues."  REALLY? I sent Maryland all the data they need to track a company in their state that has had more then 7 business names - out of the same office! - that closes when the bills pile up and then start a new one. They did nothing. (PES, Professional Escrow Services, Montgomery Title)

Shocker that the guy is an attorney.

Anyway - just needed to complain. Just did work for CoreLogic and Alti-Source is bugging me. Not going there. My blood pressure can't take it. BTW - I also cancelled my BBB account. They are a complete scam. If these companies have an A score, BBB is completely worthless. And I told them that. (So is DNB)
