This is an interesting article for more than one reason.
First, is the idea that these people were ever allowed to build an 8,000+ sf house on a cliff overlooking the ocean in the first place. Second is that, due to the number of truly violent winter storms we've had lately, the house is likely on its way to Davy Jones' locker. Third is whether or not to compound mistake #1, by allowing the owners to move it all of 250 feet further back. It can be done, but should it be? Some of the comments are interesting, & one of them, in particular, queries the idea of cause/effect with reference to the weight of an 8,000 sf house & it's possible effect on the entire erosion process.
