Karine Ordinola was upset with me for asking for payment for a search that did not close. She stated that I was wrong in asking for payment for an unclosed project since it was "the norm for the industry."  Not So! If you want examiners to do work for you, you must pay them for their efforts. This is their form of income.  No one can afford to work for free in this day and time. Just to let you know, she thought that I was the "looney" one for making such a defense. Of course, I did not receive payment for this search, but I saw to it that my examiner got paid.
