I was a vendor for S&R for years. The trouble began when one of the principles died in a house fire. I was told that it was problems with the heir of the deceased that caused a lot of issues with this company and their ability to pay their vendors. We had worked with the company for many years without a problem before that time and tried to make arrangements to be paid through installments, but after not being paid anything for several months I finally had to declare what they owed my company as bad debt to the IRS this year. It is sad what happened to them, but if what I was told is true there were extenuating circumstances for the non-payment and it was more than just expecting vendors to work for free.
