They are an India based company (all their work is done in India, although they have a front office here in the US for appearances).  Their employees are horribly trained and uninformed about even the basics of title examination. They will repeatedly waste your time trying to get you to get things you have already sent them, because they simply do not understand what it is they are reading. God forbid you have a complicated title, they will not have a clue. I did work for about 2-3 months before I cut them off. I consider them a risk. Plus I don't like doing work for overseas companies that seem to be dumbing down the title industry, and driving prices down. You'll have to decide for yourself if you wish to work for out-sourcers. They do pay (direct-deposit), but they pay S-L-O-W-L-Y.

I've had a couple of local/regional title companies and a local law firm use them for a time, and they all came back to the local abstractors (sending work to us directly, instead of going through Altisource) after about 6-months, because of all the mistakes Altisource was making. I suspect a few years down the road there will be alot of "stuff" hitting the fan when the claims start rolling in from their mistakes. Title companies and law firms that continue to use these companies will just have to learn the hard way.....what seems cheap now, will cost them down the road.
