I recently received an email through LinkedIn from Debbie Valecha that begins:

 My name is Debbie and I head a Management Consulting firm called GRACE. We are an extended arm of FUGO Services, a Title Production and Closing Support services company. We have seasoned examiners in-house who work on searches online and a team of field Abstractors that can get work done accessing the Recorder’s office.

Our Current Owner searches for states with data online ranges anywhere between $18.00 to $25.00 with a 24 TURN TIME.

In addition to Title Production we also provide other ancillary Closing Support services. 

I wrote back explaining that she is my competition. Part of her response is below:

- We are not a Title company in the first place. We are a Title Production support company.

- Secondly Title Companies do not look at us as competition as we only help get more done sooner and at lower costs. We leverage our offshore unit and are able to provide excellent service.

- Lastly we are sensitive to the fact that in some counties there isn't all data available online and hence we use a partner who visits the county records office and completes the Abstract for us. However there are also quite a few counties where all data is available online. Sometimes we also leverage the use of search engines like Data Trace and Title Point as needed.  

 I searched the archives and there was nothing under Debbie Valecha, FUGO Services or GRACE. Has anyone ever heard of this company?
