I am still very much in business & I know many other people in many, many Registries who are still in business too so I seriously doubt that $5.00 rundowns by overseas title companies are going to put me out of business anytime soon. 

Last year was a bad year, but not because of overseas title companies.  It was bad all the way around for everyone.  I know attorneys whose conveyancing practice fell off by 40-50% due to market forces.  We are at the bottom of the food chain.  If the sales & refis aren't there then the work isn't either.  It's the economy, not the overseas companies that is doing us in.
