Just received an order for a 40 year search. Due date is TODAY at 2 p.m. "Order should be completed and returned by/before the above due date" and "any delays should be informed immediately with genuine reason to avoid cancellations"
My response was direct and to the point. I recommend everyone do the same. Apparently some big client came along and to secure the work they made promises that are not going to be kept. Perhaps this will be a lesson learned.
I like Visionet. I know they're overseas, but I have several overseas companies I work with and few issues (except language and that is resolved by using e-mail). I would hate to shut them off, but when a company starts this ridiculous kind of behavior and they start caring more about turn time than quality, it may be my only option. I'm not saying it should take us 3 days to do a 1 owner search, but I'm also saying it may take us 3 days to do a full search!
