The last few closings I was involved with (since implementation of TRID) had different points of view on the Closing Disclosure (CD). Closing Company 1 gave copies of the CD's to everyone at the closing table - buyers, sellers and real estate agents. Closing Company 2, on another transaction, said there is non-public confidential information on the CD and substituted ALTA Settlement Statements for the Agents. Both Closing Companies are solid and have been around a long time, so I am perplexed.
What are you hearing in the market about providing or NOT providing CD's to real estate agents?
