[-] Altisource? Good or Bad? - Penelope Ramone/MA (9 replies)

Hi! I have been having some trouble getting some payments from Altisource. Some go back over six months. I keep sending in the same info to several people, formatting it in different ways to accommodate them, and they keep bouncing it around and just not paying. I used to do a lot of business with them, and then I noticed they would routinely leave off payments. They would pay for 9-out-of-10 jobs, and over time all those skipped jobs added up to thousands of dollars. It's taken months to get the balance down to a few thousand, and it really seems like they just expect me to go away at this point.

At one point, I told them I would no longer do their updates or accept new orders until the payment issue was resolved. Now that it is down to a much lower past-due amount, I attempted to get work from them again, and was met with a chilly, terse, and rude reply from Trish McCord, in which she essentially chastised me as though I were a misbehaving, somewhat dim, child. So it seems like if you expect to be paid, they will react with repercussions.

Overall just a really bad taste in my mouth for 1) no payment (their error) and me having to struggle to correct that, with a substantial balance still owing 2) rude communications from their vendor manager Trish McCord, and 3) retaliation for ceasing work until payments were caught up.

I just wonder what your experience has been with them, good or bad. Please let me know!
