A new trend in our industry appears to be websites that our clients require (not request) we enter billing information rather than just sending out our invoice.

The benefits to our clients are obvious in that we are doing data entry that they used to do. The latest e-mail I got also adds: "Portal has no cost for suppliers." We get to do more work and we don't even have to pay for the privilege.  Woo hoo.
