I have a new system that is working really well for me. I set up a Paypal account that is linked to my business bank account. When I get a new client (or one that has trouble paying me on time), I tell them in advance that I will be sending them an invoice which they must pay online through Paypal. They can pay by credit card and Paypal does not require them to have an account with them to pay the invoice. Yes Paypal takes 2.9% and .30/transaction but it's so worth it to have the piece of mind that I am paid BEFORE I send them my hard work. I hope this helps the many people on here that are not getting paid on time.
Other than the Paypal fees, is there any downfall to this strategy? My feeling is...if the client is not willing to pay for the work before they receive it, they wont pay at all most likely.
