No,

I simply send them an email with our fees and services and when payment is required.  I ask them to acknowledge the same in a return email.  That is the jist of my agreement with everyone I do business with.

If they are 1 day late, I send a courtesy email that their invoice is past due.

As to client service "agreements"  be very careful what you wish for.  You may end up going from an independent contractor to an IRS defined "employee".

I had a former client who wanted to impose all kinds of nonsense on me and my ancillary service providers that kicked us into the dreaded IRS employee.  When I told them sure, we'd jump through all their hoops but now we were employees and they had to pay withholding, etc, they FREAKED.

Needless to say, we never signed the agreements with them, business went on as usual and we all stayed happy.to post a reply: login - or - register
