However, every Underwriter in this state is now hiring additional Underwriting Counsel. Who are all of these overseas companies using for their Errors and Omissions Insurance? And what is the actual liability of one that writes that policy? Do they have one that can be collected for on this continent? And has anyone ever? There is a pattern emerging. I have had 6 out of 6 groups that when I had asked for E&O policies to be sent from their agent/ underwriter just didn't send them. The ones that had sent samples of their work were riddled with typographical errors and words that just ran together, as though some one sounded them out phonetically, typing the way that they personally would have said it aloud. That's a big problem. I'm all for the little guy. But in then end if all anyone is worried about is profit then maybe we should being take a look at the potential losses too.
