Trumbull is a Town in Fairfield County, Connecticut.  If you're not familiar with CT, we record at individual Town Clerk's offices - where the Land Records are for each town.  If there is an estate or any probate found in the chain of title, the Probate Courts are located in different locations.  Needless to say, they all have their own hours, filing and records access systems.  For example, many rural town offices close at noon on Friday.

Trivia.  By law each town must have one public computer for the land records index and not all towns have online public indexes ... and a few specifically do not allow viewing or purchasing recorded documents online; you MUST go to the office or mail in a check with a written request.  Town taxpayer paid services and the taxpayers who elected their officials (like the Town Clerk) and pay their salary want privacy over convenience for someone else.
