In some of our Grantee/Grantor indexes not on computer there is a colum in the books for legal descrip.  Though not always 100%, but good most of the time.  But I can't use that as a cross reference.  What if they spelled the name wrong?  We can't even cross check by tax id# in all but 2 counties I cover.  I wish they woulk start doing it though,  seems like a good way to catch mistakes.
