To add further insult to injury this county that I referred to requires you to sign in and create a password! This was tried a few years ago with the Franklin County, Ohio Clerk of Courts of Common Pleas computerized system and the Ohio AG said that form of sign in procedure is not allowed. They changed their site for access without a log in. This one office from my original post is saying the log in and password access is so one can customize the indexing display to one's preference. I then asked if I walked into your office and walked up to one of the in house computer terminals would I have to login with my password? They said no, of course not. I then asked so what difference does the mode of transportation to the information make? No reply.
