Education is the key. For starters we should be teaching the consumer our role and purpose in the home buying process. We have a lot to tell them, because among many things, we're hard working, home grown American citizens handling the personal private information of everyone buying a home in the U.S. I understand the frustration. Rallying abstractors is like herding cats. NALTEA counts on its members to bring problems and solutions to the table. The Association needs an engaged community to tackle the challenges we all face. Our profession is very important, don't let anyone fool you into thinking otherwise. Our research does protect the consumer. We understand the process and know what's happening on a local level. Our knowledge is valuable, making our product valuable. Collectively, we can build and define the reputation of our product and turn the tides.
