we do the same thing using Square.  It is a little cheaper than paypal and the client does not have to have an account with square.   I sent the invoice right through square and they pay it via mc/visa/amex/discover and it goes right into our account.   the good thing is many clients use amex and the rate is exactly the same. but I agree it has been working well for us too
