I don't have one client , not one who will accept copies in place of a write up. As for the easiness of pulling copies, try coming to Delaware County PA where they have 1 printer to print copies from fiche for any documents past 1988. After waiting on line to use it (As many as 30-35 searchers in any given day waiting), it may take an hour and a half to pull that days copies once you get on the printer! Judgments and Estates past 2007 are in offsite storage and require standing on line to order, returning to prothy daily to check to see if they came in and then when it finally comes in I have to wait on the county clerk to print what we need @ $1.00/page. As many have stated, I am not a bank! I can't carry your debt for 60 days when R.O.D. expects payment in cash at the time that the copies are provided. Finally, is your client passing your search on to their client with no mark up, I think not! The day they pass my search on to the customer at cost is the day I will stop marking up copies!
