On the issue of contraception, I’d say most of the squawking came from the left.  Listening to them, you’d have thought there was a contingent of Tea Partiers out there destroying condoms and smashing birth control pills with ball peen hammers, lol.  I’m pretty libertarian when it comes to that, so it’s more or less a non-issue as far as I’m concerned.
