What is almost as bad is when your client has another searcher offer to do work for slightly less than you charge and they don't call you but just give the work to another abstractor.  At least check with me and see if I can match the offer. I remember when a prospective client would ask about your experience. Now it's price, service and do you have insurance? They don't care about the quality of the work.
