I belong to the baby boomer generation...the largest voting block in American history...and all approaching medicare enrollment to which they have paid into for most of their lives.  I remember the days of protest during the 60's and early 70's. Maybe it is time for their voice to be heard again en masse to remind our elected officials whose interest they serve. The Republicans' idea of vouchers issued in some insignificant amount is ridiculous as is is their resistance to a workable government option for those too young for medicare. I for one would like to see a better allocation of our tax  dollars on necessary human services or in the alternative limitation on the cost of healthcare insurance
