I have two thoughts as I read this...
First, there is a problem with many clients these days. The people they have dealing with their searchers do not understand title work... or searching. They expect a lot of explanation and when they get it they do not understand it.
Second, when we have complicated searches like that, we provide a copy of the plat map and highlight or make notes on it to explain what each document pertains to. I think that should be included with the search - it should be understandable without the client having to scale out all of the legal descriptions. The abstractor would have had to do that anyway, and the client shouldn't be expected to do it all again.
Without knowing the specific question your client has, I can't tell you which category this falls into.
