I think you are doing the right thing.

And what do they mean until the file closes? Until the foreclosed property is sold?

I do alot of foreclosure work in Wisconsin and copies are $2.00 for the first page of a document and $1.00 for each page thereafter, and a few counties charge $1.25 per page for the additional pages.

One of the clients I do these searches for requires full copies, copies alone could be $20-$30 per order, I couldn't take a hit on these. I have to pay the guys who do my work regardless if my clients pay me or not.

And why should we take a hit, we do the work we should be paid.

Again, I think you are making the right decision, you could end up losing a ton of money.
