I believe our associate is right about India. However, you usually get to talk to someone who speaks English as their first language IF (and that's a big if) you can ever get a hold of anyone! Once you actually talk to a person, make sure you get their direct-line phone number so that you can call them in the future with problems.
Their stuff IS a pain in the butt, and don't ever try to upgrade an order. If they want a 1 owner search, that's all they're going to pay for.
On the good side, they DO pay. They DON'T pay for copies of any kind. At least in Michigan, they only want a copy of the vesting deed and absolutely nothing else.
Really hard to boycott 1st American! They're everywhere.
All these responses have to do with the Cleveland office, btw.
