Hi Louise, did they contact you through SOT?   Kim Walters found my name on SOT and asked me to do some 2 owner searches in a far away county that I normally don't cover.   She said it was an "emergency" and that if I could do her this one favor she would send more work my way.  She was extremely nice, polite and sticky sweet.  Of course, I fell for their lie and the following week it was the same story.  One of the searches had 6 parcels with delinquent taxes and after I submitted the search to her she emailed me with questions regarding the taxes.  After I explained the tax info I never heard from them again.

I should have known something was amiss because they never asked me for proof of E&O or pricing info.  I should have checked with SOT for prior complaints about US Title before accepting work from them.  Lesson learned.

BTW, I just got off the phone with US Title and they forwarded my call to Rick Wilkinson's voice mail.  I told him I was posting a complaint on SOT right now and that I would appreciate a call back right away.  I doubt that he'll call.
