Unfortunately, in northern Michigan, there are many companies willing to do searches for $25.00. although some people -not you- slam us for charging too lttle- we in fact are on the high end here because we charge $50.00- Also, we charge $15.00 for recordings (which some abstractors will do for $5.00)- Most companies up here do not care for experience only who will charge the least. I also think it is a sign of our states economy-I truely wish there was a way for all of us to be on the same page with pricing but each area of this country is soooo different- Best of luck.
