I'm with you on this one, Clanci.  At the same time, I believe that there is something inherently wrong with a system of taxation which is so complicated that even those who wrote it cannot be sure of whether or not they are in compliance.  That is why I am an advocate of the Fair Tax.  It's simple, EVERYBODY pays it and it's 100% revenue-neutral, meaning that all current federal funding would be replaced dollar for dollar by the Fair Tax.  It would be a great way to level the playing field.
