That comment really floored me as I had no intention of doing anything else for them until I heard about payment for past work done in February and I think this was April when they contacted me again. They had ignored my requests for payment or status of payment until they needed something else. They also could not promise that I would be paid within 45 days so after the "hostage" situation was addressed, I politely told them they needed to find someone else. I am not an abstractor/terrorist! I guess others have used that form of "blackmail" LOL to get paid. Whatever, not for me. I still think that we are all professionals in this business and should be treated as such with some professional courtesy. I try to treat folks the way I would like to be treated. Guess I am just old school.
