While I relize the race is over, I wouldn't have picked Big Brown.  This is not hindsite either.  First off the odds were terrible and everyone and their brother picked him. 

The hoof crack could have caused some trouble but the fact that the trainer didn't give the steroid shot in May cost 'em the race.  While Big Brown did seem alert and ready to run you could tell from the beginning not as strong as before. 

What a shame.  It would have been nice to have another living Triple Crown winner.
