Hi Diane: I guess I was being a little detail oriented when I answered that - Robert's question only asks "How far back would you run these names" based on the info given- since it did not say "run title"  I was just seeing if we were doing more than was requested- and it looks like we are- a lot more- kind of like "please get me a copy of db 345 pg 34- and we come back with the whole book copied!!! I believe the only question that requires title run would be the 2nd one- that was the only expanded question to include more than "just run this".
And thank you for letting me know the rules for "after acquired liens"  the time frames are about the same as we use in Virginia too, I include any liens in that 20 year time frame- allowing for the automatic release statement included on open IRS liens that have not had a release filed for them.
I read ( or try to when available) your blog site- it is interesting and informative- thanks for your assistance with those of us that are not as knowledgeable in your area of expertise- your words and input are a valuable asset to us- especially in the area of "short cutting" titles and title examination ( which is what I prefer to describe what I do also)
