Let me try and simplify this further.  I am not an owner of Bertrum Settlements.  Whether the Title company went out of business or not, any invoicing/payment issues are with the corporation.

With regards to other posts, none that I am aware had to do with the Title company (though as you point out - that'snot really significant - other than the Title company was not profitable).  The Bertrum Group is for the most part an Abstract company - and continues to be so.  I am trying to turn the Title company into a profitable organization and have made a successful attempt to date.

To continue, I obviously need abstract work completed.  I'm looking for an Abstractor that handles Northampton county, PA.  I order, they deliver, I pay. (that's a problem?)  I do not have any control over any accounts but those in the Title Business.

So why is there an isue with my request other than it's in the wrong forum (Thanks Robert).?

Please do not go down the path of degrading the fine business I am trying to build with Bertrum Settlements.
